The 19th International Symposium on Carotenoids will take place in Toyama Prefecture, Japan on 9-14 July 2023. ENEOS Corporation will be presenting on 13 July 2023. See details below. We will discuss carotenoid production methods using our unique microbiological and fermentation technology and application examples of Panaferd®-AX.
Panaferd®-AX consists of a marine microorganism, Paracoccus carotinifaciens, which is rich in naturally derived astaxanthin. Through our unique fermentation technology, which has been developed over approximately 50 years, we have achieved quality and supply, safety, and security.
In the development of feed applications at present, it is expected to be used not only as a pigmenting material based on “natural origin, safety, and security” but also as a functional feed material for the purpose of improving animal productivity, reducing stress, and improving immunity, etc. This presentation introduces the process leading up to the commercial production of Panaferd®-AX and the results of efficacy trials we have conducted.
