Their fish are raised from the egg in land-based systems powered partially by the hydroelectric power that their farms generate. Riverence’s fish are fed a diet that is environmentally responsible and nutritious, and the notable ruby red color the trout are known for comes directly from their diet! The vibrant red color is obtained through all-natural astaxanthin in their fish’s diets as opposed to synthetic astaxanthin that many other fish are fed.
